Benefits of Food

 Food

Food  has two meanings. The first refers to objects made so that humans can obtain nutrients necessary for their activities by eating, and the second refers to the act of eating and drinking by humans. However, the second meaning is usually called'food and drink' or'meal', and generally'food' means the first meaning, meaning that unnecessary parts are removed using fire or tools or processed to make it easier to eat. It has a different scope from food, which means what can be eaten itself. As it is directly connected to survival, it has been considered very important since the past, and is considered one of the three essential elements of human life, food, clothing, and shelter.

High protein foods and foods that provide an environment suitable for microbial growth are potentially dangerous. Milk or dairy products, eggs, meat, fish, poultry, tofu, bean sprouts, and raw fish and shellfish (molluscs and crustaceans) are included. Also, while uncooked may not be potentially dangerous, there are foods that can become potentially dangerous once cooked, such as rice, noodles, and potatoes. However, dry foods, foods with a water activity of less than .85 and foods with an acidity of less than 4.6 are not considered potentially dangerous.

As food is indispensable for survival, when you are hungry, your temper becomes ferocious, you become sensitive, and you actively change your behavior to fill your stomach. On the other hand, when you eat food and feel full, you become quite loose and generally show a non-aggressive appearance. Since it is one of the easiest ways to obtain the elements that must be consumed in survival, humans have imprinted the likes and dislikes of taste in food, and for this reason, food must have taste for humans as well. I don't care about the taste when I get too hungry because of the extreme energy consumption, but the most important thing is the taste due to the taste made in favor of the essential elements  most of the time when I have a certain amount of space and gain basic energy . Also, a lot of money is poured in to taste this taste. Most of the modern objects are quite far away from those from nature, and many are even made artificially, but food is still made 1000 years ago in a similar process.

In the etymology, drinking and eating  are referred to as food, but when referring to normal food, water or beverages are excluded. Maybe it's because you need to make you feel full and full, or because it's not possible to consume it right away like water, but because it needs to be processed to make it easier to eat after hunting or harvesting.

Depending on the culture or religion, eating full was regarded as a symbol of wealth and also as a part of greed. For example, some people consider fat people to be handsome, while others are taboo against overeating. This is also related to the abundance of food. In areas where excessive food intake by some upper classes too directly affects the hunger of the lower class, this is not good, and the lower class has high productivity, so that if the lower class lives for some reason, the fat person is handsome. It goes on. And in any culture, it is considered taboo to play with food.

Compared to the past, the treatment of purely caloric foods in modern times is poor. Compared to the past, when food was generally scarce, in the present era, food is not abundant and overflowing, so even if it cannot be distributed to a specific region, we have to worry about what remains rather than insufficient. So, there are people who are wary of overeating or binge eating, which were wary of food shortages in the past due to aesthetic issues, and hate obesity, which was a symbol of wealth in the past.

At one time, there was speculation that in the future, all food and dishes would disappear. One pill or capsule would cover all the nutrients needed for the day and would not waste time cooking or eating. It is biologically impossible to supplement all nutrition with one pill It is physically impossible to supply nutrients with other products than food, but it has been a fact for a long time in history, such as biscuits. There are cases. However, the pleasure and satisfaction obtained from eating occupy a very fundamental reward for human psychology, and even with the soldiers who have to maintain prayer secrets on the battlefield and who have limited time to eat, they can be made as cheap as possible and take into account efficiency. Even the battle food that can be forcibly fed to the soldiers is not fed only lumps of tasteless carbohydrates unless it is really urgent, or life is on the brink of distress. And above all, eating time is not a waste, but a break. It's easy to think of high school students.

In the process of cooking, it is not often used because it is hot, crushed, or chewed when eating even if there is no such thing, but when cursing someone, the name of the object to be cursed is sometimes attached to the name of the food. Representatively, there is Yu Tiao, who is said to have made it by cursing China's bare sinner.

In the creation

In Star Trek DS9, the Ferengi race, Quark, warned his nephew, "Humans are very kind and kind when they are full, but if they starve for a long period of time (due to some kind of war, etc.), they become more evil and ferocious than Klingon."

It appears as a resource in strategy simulations such as Age of Empires and Thousand Years of Mythology, and in White Day, the Kingdom of the Winds, and Undertail, it is also used to fill HP. In games such as Odin Spear,
